About Dr. Thomas Su

Dr. Su was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana by parents who are both Chinese immigrants. His path to becoming a master liposculpting artist has been an interesting one. Dr. Su’s love of drawing began early in his childhood which he picked up from his mother, herself an accomplished painter. He later attended a private school for science and arts where he received top honors in the school art exhibit. He then attended Rice University where he discovered an exciting new world of figure drawing. In addition to fulfilling his premed requirements, also received his Bachelor degree in Fine Arts.
Dr. Su had envisioned a path in plastic surgery but instead changed to Internal Medicine which he practiced for 9 years. In 2005, Dr. Su decided to return to his passion for art and the human figure and opened his cosmetic practice. His artistic skills have blended perfectly with this pursuit of medicine and made him one of most sought after liposculpting experts in Florida. Dr. Su still pursues his love of figure drawing but is also fast becoming a very accomplished body painter.
